The global dealership community has gathered in Napa Valley for a three-day deep-dive on dealership digital operations.


From marketing and automation to EVs and emerging tech, Brian Pasch has assembled an all-star lineup of presenters and panelists with real-world expertise.


The energy of the packed room was contagious and positive. While it’s nearly impossible to enjoy a wine tour or tasting while visiting Napa, It’s clear that car dealers come to this event to learn. They’ve come to expect top-tier education and discussion from this event over the years, and this iteration is no different.


The evening kicked off with a compelling keynote by Brian where he led us through how fear is killing automotive retail innovation. In his remarks, Brian shares that while news channels and industry pundits claim that change is being accelerated by EV models, the real change catalysts are not being addressed. Fear is preventing open dialogue today throughout the retail automobile industry.


Following Brian’s remarks, a panel of dealer operators and marketing specialists spoke to the common challenges that they each face when aiming to grow their digital presence.


Murat Deljanin from Paragon Acura and Paragon Honda, joined by Chip Perry from A2Z Sync explored how Murat’s stores take proactive measures to build lifelong loyalty amidst their customer base.


From OEM compliance to getting creative, perhaps the most common challenge the entire panel agreed upon was that reporting from vendor partners is not as transparent as they’d expect.


Rounding out the close of the first day was an emotional and fun keynote about why video selling is the most powerful tool in the dealer’s arsenal, delivered by Shari Levitin. During her story-filled presentation, Shari took attendees on a journey through their individual desire for human connection and how they can deploy that before, during, and after the car buying process by injecting personalized video along the way.


With two more full days ahead, it’s already clear that DMSC (Digital Marketing Strategies Conference) is a must-attend for car dealers and industry professionals alike.
